The back section of Target is filled with fall decorations. Fake pumpkins, fall blankets, fall cups and plates, and so much more! Trader Joe’s displays their pumpkin section. They have all of the pumpkin spice items anyone could ever imagine. Starbucks has its fall menu, especially the pumpkin spice cold foam and pumpkin bread. Fall is about looking outside and seeing red and orange leaves on the trees. It’s time to wear a cute festive sweater that keeps you warm while listening to moody music in the car with the windows open.
Fall, in general, is the season when most people are the happiest in their lives, according to People Magazine, “56 percent of respondents are happier in the fall compared to other seasons.” Fall is the season when everyone is able to enjoy pumpkin patches, pumpkin carving, apple picking, haunted houses, Halloween, and Thanksgiving. Grace Day was asked what her favorite season was, and she said Fall! She likes to walk her dog, and it’s more motivating when trees are changing colors from boring old green to beautiful orange and yellow.
ABC 7 News shared that, “Americans spend about half a billion dollars on pumpkin spice products every year.” I am sure we can think of more than one person who spends all their money on pumpkin spice drinks during the fall season.
